What an incredible day!
When we opened our doors for this year’s Annual Backpack Drive & Block Party, we knew it would be a good time. What we didn’t expect was just how many of our Shasta County neighbors would come out to support. Your energy, generosity, and community spirit helped us set a new record for turnout this year.

Equipping Our Local Students for Success
Our main goal for this event was to help local kids start the school year strong. Most days, our technicians are busy with furnace repairs, AC replacements, and making homes more comfortable. But this weekend, our focus was on the students. Thanks to everyone who pitched in, we sent hundreds of kids back to school ready to learn.
Thanks to the incredible support, we were able to provide:
- Free backpacks loaded with school supplies.
- Fresh, free haircuts to get everyone looking sharp for their first day.
- Plenty of smiles and encouragement for the year ahead!
A Summer Block Party to Remember
Of course, no Redding Heating & Air event is complete without a little fun. It was great to see families soaking up the last days of summer before school starts and getting a well-deserved break from the Northern California heat.
Some of our favorite highlights from the day included:
- Kids (and maybe a few adults) cooling off on the giant inflatable water slides.
- Awesome designs at the face painting station.
- Great music and energy from the Q97 and KShasta radio crews, who kept the block party going strong!
