Our Warranty Promise
At Redding Heating & Air, your comfort is our top priority. We believe homeowners in Redding, CA, should feel confident that their HVAC investment is protected long after installation. That’s why we back our work with a 12-Year “Care Free” Warranty—a comprehensive plan designed to give you peace of mind, year after year.
This warranty ensures that when you choose us, you’re not only getting skilled installation and trusted service, but also reliable protection for your heating and cooling system.
Conditions and Limitations
- This agreement is between Redding Heating & Air and the equipment owner. It cannot be transferred without prior approval from our office.
- Coverage remains in place as long as the system is not removed from the original installation address.
- Any material or work beyond what’s documented in this agreement must be provided at the owner’s expense.
- Redding Heating & Air is not responsible for damages caused by fire, flooding, storms, power outages, or other external events.
- To maintain coverage, homeowners must schedule two preventative maintenance visits each year (one in spring, one in fall). Failure to do so may void the warranty.
We keep these conditions in place to ensure your system runs safely, efficiently, and exactly as designed.
What’s Covered
When you invest in a new HVAC system with Redding Heating & Air, our warranty covers any failure of an internal component on the protected equipment. That means if something inside the unit fails due to normal use, we’ll repair or replace it—keeping your system running smoothly.
What’s Not Covered
- Air filters, drain lines, refrigerant, and similar consumable items
- Damage caused by fire, flooding, storms, theft, or other external events
- Repairs required due to neglect, improper maintenance, or unauthorized service by another company
- Freight costs or special-order parts not included in the agreement
- Compressor bearing repairs if the equipment exceeds 10 years of age
Regular maintenance is a small investment that pays for itself many times over through savings, comfort, and peace of mind.
Equipment Owner’s Responsibilities
To keep your warranty active and your system performing its best, here’s what we ask from you:
- Allow only Redding Heating & Air to service or maintain the covered equipment. Work performed by others may void the warranty.
- Schedule and complete two annual maintenance visits with our team. This keeps your system in top shape and ensures your warranty stays valid.
- Provide our technicians with reasonable access to the equipment and controls. If special accommodations are required, we’ll work with you to make it easy.
When you do your part, we’ll handle the rest—keeping your comfort system protected for years to come.
Equipment Owner’s Options
If you decide to sell your home during the warranty term, the coverage can be transferred to the new homeowner. All it takes is a written request and a transfer fee of $50.00. Simply send your request to:
Redding Heating & Air
840 Commerce Street
Redding, CA 96002
Attn: Service Department
This option ensures your system retains its value and continues protecting the new owner after the sale.
